Took my daughter to get her drivers license. The man who helped us was very polite with a positive demeanor. All other staff I observed were being kind and helpful to all who walked in the door. It was refreshing to have a positive experience at a government office!

There’s a few nice employees at this location but my biggest problem was over hearing the two ladies on the end that work on State I.Ds. They were really rude to a few of the people that came in. I’m currently here now waiting to get my daughters I.D made and it’s hurting my ears listening to them talk about the people crazy thing is their discussing with each other of how mean they are to the people. It’s breaking my heart. I really hope when it’s my daughter turn up they don’t treat her that way because I really don’t know what my reaction may be.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Tameka at the Granite City DMV. She was so kind and helpful in guiding me through the process in a complicated situation to get a vehicle title for a truck I had inheirited after losing both my parents. She went above and beyond, and I am very grateful. Public servants often get a bad reputation because of some bad apples, but Tameka is a shining example of how positive and helpful they can be.

I took my son here twice, the first time to get his first license, and then recently to get it renewed. As a O’Fallon resident, Granite City is further away from me than a couple of other DMV locations but they were so nice and professional during both visits that I was more than happy to drive the additional distance. Excellent customer service.

Toxic state ran facility; avoid at all costs. Sad example of a flawed system. Zero respects for their place of employment. Which they are so blinded by position they fail to see their own errors to the general public. Mind you, filing a complaint with the state’s IG Department… do not expect much resolution, more people collecting a paycheck. So a big whopping one star from this 100% disabled combat veteran that has traveled the USA with several state’s dmv offices under my belt. This place will suck the happiness right out of ya, like they feed on it. Prime example where state employees have no statehood pride! Unsafe, unprofessional…just SAD.
